Ministry of National Defense Released a Press Release Explaining the Matter Regarding “United States Armed Forces Warships Navigating Through the Taiwan Strait Yesterday (25th)”. (February 26th, 2019)
The Ministry of National Defense has stated today (26th) that one of each United States Armed Forces battleship and replenishment ship have navigated northbound through the Taiwan Strait yesterday from the southwestern waters of Taiwan and have left the area this morning.
The Ministry of National Defense pointed out that citizens can be reassured that the Republic of China Armed Forces have grasped on the situation when the United States Armed Forces warships navigated through the surrounding waters of Taiwan to ensure the safety of sea area and regional stability, and found no abnormalities.
